James Taylor’s Stadium Ways

James Taylor has two mighty big venues to fill in 2016 – Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park.  Oh, and did we mention that special guest Jackson Browne appears on both dates?

The June 30 gig at Wrigley will be Taylor’s first performance at the ivy-covered baseball park.  On the other hand, Sweet Baby James is no stranger to Fenway, having played the home of the the Red Sox and the infamous Green Monster in August.  The Boston-born Taylor committed his own famous error at Fenway in 2013 when he was supposed to sing the National Anthem before Game 2 of the World Series but mistakenly began the performance with “America The Beautiful.”  To his credit, Taylor was slated to sing “America The Beautiful” during that game’s 7th inning.
