World-Class Refund Requests
Li is a world-famous piano prodigy and the Sydney Philharmonic under the baton of David Roberson a renowned world-class ensemble, but during Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 it appeared as if Li became lost and the conductor stopped the piece in mid-movement.
After a short pause, they resumed. Korean media have reported that Li blamed Robertson and the orchestra for the mishap.
On social media, Li said he made no such accusation and also denied that anyone in the audience demanded a refund. It’s an unusual story, as rarely do classical music fans demand their money back based on a show not living up to their standards.
