Above & Beyond’s Acoustic Adventure
What began as a brief number of shows that included a two-night sold-out stand at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles expands to a three-continent tour in support of a new album. Above & Beyond’s Acoustic II arrives in the spring and features new arrangements of some of the group’s biggest hits. The electronic supergroup recently unveiled a promo video that teased a downtempo interpretation of “Hello.”
Acoustic II was produced by Bob Bradley, the same man who helmed Above & Beyond’s 2014 Acoustic album. You can pre-order the disc here.
“We had so much fun doing the first run of acoustic shows and it was really the reaction from our fans that convinced us to tour it more extensively,” Above & Beyond’s Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki said in a statement. “We’ve ticked some pretty impressive venues boxes with this tour – somebody pinch us!”
