Four For Bryan Ferry

Bryan Ferry makes his first 2016 touring announcement as the Roxy Music frontman sets two shows in London and a couple nights in Scotland.  Tickets go on sale next week.

Ferry toured Europe and the U.K. in 2015 in support of his 2014 album, Avonmore.  Coming up next month the singer will release the Avonmore Special Edition featuring a specially commissioned illustration of Ferry on the cover.  On the inside you’ll find a 48-page book filled with photos of Ferry’s Avonmore Tour taken by photog Matthew Becker, along with an intro by journalist Richard Williams and specially printed lyric sheets.

Of course, you also get the album Avonmore on CD and heavyweight white vinyl.  Bonus material includes four remixes from the album, also available on heavyweight white vinyl, plus two CDs of Avonmore remixes as well as unreleased tracks.  The set also comes with a DVD featuring official videos for singles “Loop De Li,” “Johnny & Mary” and “Driving Me Wild.”

But wait!  There’s more!  Ferry will personally sign 100 copies for fans preordering the deluxe set through his official website.  This will be accomplished by randomly selecting from preorders received before the special edition’s Dec. 4 release date.  So the question you just gotta ask yourself is, “Do you feel lucky today?”

Speaking of luck, the Avonmore Special Edition will be limited to 1,500 copies. So dust off that rabbit’s foot and make your best wish.

Meanwhile, Ferry’s four U.K. shows go on sale Nov. 27.  Here’s the plan:

April 16 – Perth, Scotland, Perth Concert Hall
April 18 – Stirling, Scotland, Albert Halls
April 20 – London, England,  London Palladium
April 22 – London, England,  London Palladium
