25 Years Of Naughty By Nature

25th anniversaries are traditionally celebrated with something made of silver, but Naughty By Nature is commemorating two and a half decades of entertaining with a tour beginning in late January.  Stops include Charlotte, Miami, San Antonio, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.

The Grammy-winning, platinum-selling hip hop trio’s “Official Kickoff Tour” will play more than 20 major cities throughout the U.S..  The group’s debut single, “O.P.P.” was dubbed one of the best 100 rap singles by The Source.

What’s up with Naughty By Nature these days?  Turns out Vin Rock, Treach and DJ Kay Gee are doing what they do best – making music and taking care of biz.  In addition to the tour the group will release an EP and documentary in 2016.

“We’re recording a new project, got that classic merchandise, we are a legendary brand and group,” Naughty By Nature said in a statement.  “We put on one of the best live shows in the business, and after 25 years we are still here!”

Naughty By Nature has a couple of dates to play before hitting the national touring superhighway.  The group will appear at “Legends Of The Old School” at USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla., Dec. 4 and the Boca Raton Resort in Boca Raton, Fla., New Year’s Eve.
