Elvis Costello lines up a brief West Coast run of solo shows taking him to Francisco, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and other destinations. Fan club presales begin today for select dates.

Costello’s “Detour” tour isn’t exactly limited to West Coast locales. The maestro will travel inland for gigs in Utah and Wyoming.

A note on Costello’s website states that a new ticketing system has been employed and returning fan club presale purchasers will need to create new accounts.

Presales for Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Riverside and Salt Lake City begin today with general onsales launching Dec. 4. The presale for Jackson also begins today but the onsale doesn’t kick off until Dec. 9.

The presale for San Francisco begins Dec. 9 and the general onsales starts Dec. 11. The San Diego presale begins Dec. 16 and the general onsale launches Dec. 18.
