As postponements from individual venues began filling up our “in” box, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Johnson had been ordered to “stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.”

Atlanta is especially hard hit by the tour’s postponement.  AC/DC’s next scheduled show was to take place at the city’s Philips Arena March 8.

But gigs scheduled for Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Greensboro, Washington, Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, Buffalo, Philadelphia and New York are being rescheduled for later this year and might feature a guest vocalist, according to a statement issued by the band.

Here are the postponed dates:

March 8 – Atlanta, Ga., Philips Arena
March 11 – Sunrise, Fla., BB&T Center
March 14 – Greensboro, N.C., Greensboro Coliseum
March 17 – Washington, D.C., Verizon Center
March 20 – Auburn Hills, Mich., The Palace Of Auburn Hills
March 23 – Columbus, Ohio, Nationwide Arena
March 26 – Cleveland, Ohio, Quicken Loans Arena
March 29 – Buffalo, N.Y., First Niagara Center
April 1 – Philadelphia, Pa., Wells Fargo Center
April 4 – New York, N.Y.. Madison Square Garden Arena

Current ticket holders can hold on to the tickets for the rescheduled dates or receive refunds at points of purchase.  Stay tuned.
