Cyndi Lauper & Boy George Do The East Coast

Two icons of the 1980s will share the stage when Cyndi Lauper and Boy George appear on select dates beginning in late May.  Tickets for shows in Boston, New York, Atlantic City and other markets go on sale this week

Lauper and Boy George became MTV mainstays during the cable channel’s first few years of beaming music videos throughout the known universe.  Songs like Lauper’s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” and Culture Club’s “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me” were in MTV’s heavy rotation and helped send the careers of both artists into the stratosphere.

If there’s anything not to like about the tour it’s that the journey is way too short. While fans on the East Coast luck out, the rest of us, including fly-overs and Left Coast residents, would love to see this package come to town.
