US Cellular Coliseum Seeking New Management
The city-owned U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Ill. requires new management as its current management company, Central Illinois Arena Management, has announced it will not be negotiating a new contract.
CIAM made the announcement March 7, with its current contract expiring April 1.
Bloomington Mayor Tari Renner said the city may seek a contract extension of 30 to 90 days, depending on how long it takes to find a new management company.
The (Bloomington) Pantagraph reports the Coliseum faced almost $500,000 losses in net operating income for the 2015 fiscal year, which more than doubles the loss from the previous fiscal year.
Upcoming events are expected to remain unaffected by the change in management.
