Andrew Dice Clay To Rule May
Clay had already spent a decade building his “Diceman” character when he became an overnight sensation following an appearance on Rodney Dangerfield’s 1988 TV special “Nothing Goes Right.” Suddenly, Clay and his risqué nursery rhymes were headlining arenas and by 1990 he had become the first comedian to sell out two consecutive nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
“We are honored to have the legendary Andrew Dice Clay on the Monster Energy Outbreak Comedy Tour,” tour co-creator Steve Glazer said. “The buzz and momentum are introducing Andrew Dice Clay to a whole new generation of fans. Dice has a special edge that is synergistic with the Monster Energy Brand and there is no better fit than the iconic personality of Dice to power this exciting tour.”
What did Clay have to say about headlining this adventure? His response, of course, was in rhyme.
“Hickory, dickory dock … Drink A Monster because the Dice Outbreak Tour is gonna rock.”
