Araca Group Widens Australian Presence
New York-based live entertainment merchandise and production company Araca Group has widened its presence in Australia with the buyout of Sydney-based merchandising company Mammoth Agency, which is rebranded as Araca Australia.
Mammoth owner and managing director Rowena Crittle, now managing director of Araca Australia, says the local company will expand globally. “We will move into new marketplaces with the theatrical business, and expand our reach to service our Australian roster worldwide! It’s exciting times ahead!”
Araca Group was founded in 1997 by theatrical producers Matthew Rego, Michael Rego and Hank Unger. Its properties include Linkin Park, Britney Spears, Korn, Leon Bridges, Godsmack and AFI, as well as musicals “Wicked,” “The Book Of Mormon,” “Matilda” and “Chicago,” and entertainment brands including the New York Rangers, Playboy, Star Wars and Doctor Who.
