Jeff Beck & Buddy Guy’s Cure For Summertime Blues
The duo will be making a special appearance at the Hollywood Bowl in August to celebrate Beck’s 50 years of dynamic music making. “Rolling Stone” included both musicians in its list of the “100 Greatest Guitarist of All Time.”
Beck’s five-decade career has earned him eight Grammy Awards and two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame – as a member of the Yardbirds in 1992 and again in 2009 as a solo artist.
Multi-Grammy Award winner Buddy Guy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. In February, Guy won the Grammy award for best blues album for his latest LP, 2015’s Born To Play Guitar.
Beck also put out a new release last year, Live+. Along with 14 live songs recorded on his 2014 tour, Live+ features two new studio tracks.
