‘Hey Baby!’ Ted Nugent Sets ‘Sonic Baptizm’ Dates

Ted Nugent hits the road beginning in July, bringing a whole lotta guitar rock to places like Las Vegas, Houston, and St. Louis. Public onsales for many dates begin this week.

Nugent’s plans include locking Phoenix’s Celebrity Theatre in a “Stranglehold;” infecting Jacksonville’s Florida Theatre with “Cat Scratch Fever; and taking the audience at the Freeborn County Fair in Albert Lea, Minn., on a “Journey To The Center Of The Mind,” where he’ll transform the audience into a massive and throbbing “Wango Tango.”

Sure, we could continue weaving the Motor City Madman’s songs with his touring itinerary but we didn’t want to descend into a “Free-For-All.”  Not in this “Dog Eat Dog” world.

But deep down in your music-luvin’ heart you know you wanna see the one and only Gonzo Rocker.  Hear that?  If you listen very carefully, you just might hear his delicate vocal stylings whispering in your ear as he invites you to join him for an evening of genuine guitar prowess as demonstrated in such numbers as “Wang Dang Sweet Poontang,” “Yank Me, Crank Me,” and “Jailbait.”
