Inside Amy Schumer’s Spring Tour

Soon Amy Schumer will be back on TV as well as headlining arenas across the U.S. Dates are set for her first standup tour of the year, which launches April 7 in Reading, Pa.

Her award-winning sketch comedy TV series returns to Comedy Central for its fourth season in April. New episodes of “Inside Amy Schumer” begin April 21.

After winning an “area of excellence” Peabody Award in 2014, last year “Inside Amy Schumer” took home an Emmy Award for outstanding variety sketch series, as well as a trophy for outstanding original music and lyrics for the song “Girl You Don’t Need Makeup.” The show won outstanding achievement in comedy at 2015’s TCA Awards, while Schumer picked up the prize for individual achievement in comedy. Schumer was also named the best actress in a comedy series at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

Earlier this month Schumer announced that her new book, “The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo,” is due out in August. The release promises “personal and observational stories from Schumer that range from the raunchy to the romantic, the heartfelt to the harrowing.” Pre-orders are ongoing.
