PromoWest Fest To Blend Hip Hop and Rock in Columbus

Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, Mac Miller, and RJD2 will share a stage with Walk the Moon, Modest Mouse, Tears for Fears and X Ambassadors as the PromoWest Fest prepares to give concertgoers the chance to catch big name-artists from different genres at one event. The festival is slated for July 15-17 in Columbus, Ohio’s Arena District.

The show will feature a good number of recognizable names beyond the headliners, most of which could be categorized as some sort of rock. These names include The Dear Hunter,  Garbage, Milky Chance, Grizfolk, AlunaGeorge,  Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Decemberists, Lindsey Stirling and many more. Columbus locals will want to check out the full lineup at the event’s website.

The bands were announced today (March 16) by PromoWest Productions, an independent concert promoter associated with a number of venues and festivals in the Ohio-Pennsylvania area. PromoWest started as a club in Columbus, across from The Ohio State University, and this inaugural music festival marks the company’s attempt to establish a regular festival.

A discounted “Level 1” pass and VIP tickets are available now. Once the “level 1” passes sell out, the price of admission increases. Single day tickets will go on sale once the schedule is announced.
