Based out of Rockford, Ill., MNRH blends compelling guitars with a dazzling brass section and aching harmonies. The band drops its third LP, Heavy Metal via Rotown Records April 29. The single “Strangers” delves into a character that finds more comfort in opening up to new people than to close friends and family. Drawing on themes of personal struggle and companionship, MNRH is relatable to many.

Nielsen’s father (Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick), may have influenced his son’s career choice but with an educated background in recording engineering and classical voice, Miles Nielsen has created his own musical pathway.
