The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that the settlement comes after attorneys for Hibbert and Venture Richmond, organizer of the Dominion Riverrock festival, both asked a judge to dismiss the lawsuit last month.

Details of the settlement were not disclosed. The now-73-year-old Hibbert had filed a $20 million lawsuit in 2014, accusing Venture Richmond of negligence in planning security and alcoholic beverage sales.

William C. Lewis pleaded guilty to assault and battery and received a six-month jail sentence for throwing the bottle.

Hibbert’s attorneys said the performer sustained a head laceration and concussion and has been left with an altered personality. The band’s remaining tour stops that year in Maryland, New York and New Jersey were postponed after the incident.
