Martin Barre Returns To U.S.

Martin Barre doubles the fun in 2016 when the Jethro Tull guitarist tours the U.S. in April and returns in the fall.  The spring run has him visiting such cities as New York, Chicago, and Asbury Park while the September-October outing includes Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Buffalo.

Barre has spent the last five years playing songs from his Jethro Tull years as well as his solo albums Away With Words and Order Of Play.  Barre’s upcoming album, Back To Steel, arrives later this year on 71st Street Music.

For many fans the 2016 dates represent a second chance to see Barre in action.  The axeman’s 2015 tour plans included dates on the West Coast and in the South as well as a booking on the Caribbean “Cruise To The Edge,” that featured Yes, Marillion and other prog-rockers.
