Architecture firm Populous unveils its design of the new 17,500-seat arena in Milwaukee featuring two-story retail space and an interactive video wall.

The arena will cover an expansive 714,000 square feet with most seats in the lower bowl to create a more intimate environment, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The lobby will house two stories of retail spaces. There will be “many” bars included, along with an “interactive video wall” designed to attract sponsors.

The facility will be part of a new entertainment district that would include bars, restaurants, giant screens and possibly a few rooftop gardens, the Journal Sentinel said.

Of course, as with any design introduced into a community, there are detractors, with some proclaiming the arena looks too much like Donald Trump’s hair or a giant taco.
