Make It A Deftones Summer

Baltimore, Boston, Tulsa, Los Angeles and Fresno are among the cities on the Deftones’ summer touring plans.  The late-summer outing in support of the band’s upcoming album includes special guest Refused on select dates with onsales launching later this week.

Deftones’ latest album – Gore – drops April 8 on Warner Bros.  The band premiered new track “Doomed User” via SiriusXM’s “Octane” channel, and the song is currently available for download via all digital retailers.  Meanwhile, the LP’s current single, “Prayers / Triangles,” continues to climb the rock charts.

The Deftones’ May calendar shows the band’s headlining dates as well festival gigs like Shaky Knees in Atlanta, Pointfest in Maryland Heights near St. Louis, and Neon Desert in El Paso, Texas.  June finds the group in Europe on a festival-packed adventure that includes Germany’s Rock am Ring and Rock Im Park, Austria’s Nova Rock, Denmark’s Northside, Iceland’s Secret Solstice, and “Download” extravaganzas in England and France.

Coming up a bit sooner than the band’s international road trip is an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” April 12.
