Kenny Rogers’ Final Tour

Kenny Rogers is gearing up for his very last world tour. He recently unveiled the first batch of dates for the outing, including multiple performances in Ohio, New Jersey and California.

“The time has flown by…but I’m ready to make more memories with you on this final world tour. We’re busy preparing the show. I hope you’ll be able to join us, beginning in May,” Rogers posted on Facebook Monday.

The famed country star announced his retirement with an appearance on the “Today” show in September. Rogers said that after an incredible career that was more than he’d “ever dreamed,” he wanted to spend more time with his family.

“I’ve decided that my goal now is to stay home and help Wanda raise Justin and Jordan and be as much of an influence on them as my mother and father were on me, because that’s what parents are for. … I love all of you. I love the way you’ve treated me. You’ve always been respectful and I will miss you dearly but I must go be with my boys.”
