SNL’s Pete Davidson Announces ‘Prehab Tour’

Pete Davidson is stepping out from the “Saturday Night Live” studio to hit the road in June on his first national stand-up tour.

Although Davidson doesn’t get a ton of screen time on most episodes, his appearances on “Weekend Update” as the show’s “Resident Young Person” have given him a chance to show off his stand-up skills.

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone the 22-year-old actor/comedian explained that after doing weed jokes on “Weekend Update” that were watered down, “I started to try and do smarter stuff this year, like stuff that would interest me, like transgender bathrooms and Trump and gun control and stuff like that just to show that I’m not stuck to that.”

Check out his bit on Donald Trump, where he explains the one good thing about the businessman running for the presidency.

The June excursion will feature material Davidson is working on for a comedy special he’s taping in April at New York University’s Skirball Center, according to Rolling Stone.
