A$AP Ferg & Tory Lanez ‘Level Up’
Not only does “The Level Up Tour” bring you an evening with two of rap’s hottest stars, but each show will include a special joint set featuring Ferg and Lanez trading off between their own tracks and collaborations.
Ferg’s second album, Always Strive And Prosper, arrives April 22 via A$AP Worldwide / Polo Grounds Music / RCA Records. The disc includes the single “New Level” featuring Future, plus “Let It Bang” featuring SchoolBoy Q and “World Is Mine” featuring Big Sean. Always Strive And Prosper is the follow-up to Ferg’s 2013 debut, Trap Lord.
Lanez, whose SXSW appearances resulted in him being called “one of the highlights” of the entire festival” by Hot New Hip Hop, recently released the single “L.A. Confidential.” The collaboration with Miguel, Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat is currently climbing the radio charts. The track follows Lanez’s breakout hit “Say It.” Lanez’s debut album will be released this year on Blanco’s Mad Love imprint on Interscope Records.
Both artists have bookings falling outside of the tour. Lanez appears at Moogfest in Durham, N.C., May 20 and at the Shaky Beats Festival in Atlanta May 21. Ferg also appears at Shaky Beats, but on May 22.
