Laid Back takes its name from Allman’s 1973 debut solo album. Following the success of 2015’s inaugural event in Wantagh, N.Y., the festival has expanded to five editions. In addition to returning to Nikon At Jones Beach Theater, Allman & Co. are headed to Atlanta; Morrison, Colo.; Chicago; and Whites Creek, Tenn., located just outside of Nashville.
With a tagline like “A Celebration of Music & Food,” you know there’s going to be some good eats. The festival is planning to celebrate “America’s diverse and delicious food and drink” by offering goodies from more than 20 regional restaurants, food trucks, breweries, wineries and other artisans.
Here’s the plan for the main “Laid Back” stage:
Saturday, June 25
Whites Creek, Tenn., Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater At Fontanel
Gregg Allman, Shovels & Rope, Brothers Osborne, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Clare Dunn, Andrea Davidson, Gabriel Kelley, Levon

Additional musicians and rising local artists will get their chance to shine with performance on the “Low Country” stage.
