The Weeknd scooped up five of the six Juno Awards he was nominated for during the 45th annual ceremony at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Canada, April 3.

Only Justin Bieber, who won the fan choice award, kept him from a clean sweep. He won artist, album and R&B/soul recording album of the year honors for his second release, Behind the Madness.

The Weeknd also picked up songwriter of the year gongs for “Can’t Feel My Face,” “In the Night” and “The Hills.”

Adele won for international album and video of the year while Bieber added pop album of the year. In other major categories, Walk Off The Earth won for group of the year; Dean Brody took country album of the year for Gypsy Road, and Alessia Cara was honored for breakthrough artist of the year.

Death From Above 1979 took rock album of the year for the Physical World, Drake had the rap recording of the year for If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, and Keys N Krates walked off with dance recording of the year for “Save Me.”

Burton Cummings was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame by Nickelback, making a surprise appearance, for his lengthy solo career as well as the voice and principle songwriter for The Guess Who at its peak.
