Events DC, the sports and convention authority for Washington, D.C., put forth six plans at a public meeting April 4 and all the suggestions heavily featured developments in sports facilities, as well as markets, a concert hall and museum space.

The advancement of any development projects on the land which formerly housed RFK would require approval from the National Parks Service.

Events DC CEO Gregory O’Dell said approved projects could be built over the next 5 to 20 years if approved.
