According to Music Feeds the band has not played in Australia in 16 years.

The synth-pop/reggae specialists broke up in 1986, then reunited and performed from 1998-2002. The original quartet then went on hiatus for over a decade, and finally began touring again in 2015.

The boys will be roaming from Western to Eastern Australia before playing two shows in Manila and then flying over to the U.S.

The last recorded album for Culture Club was 1999’s Don’t Mind If I Do, and the band is expected to release a new album, Tribes, later this year.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Online, Boy George said he has observed the band’s audience changing over the years.

“When people have said ‘Who’s your audience?’ I’m like ‘Everyone.’ It literally can be young kids, to very old ladies, you know mums,” George said. “It used to be a lot of girls back in the day, and now we seem to get a lot more guys now.”
