Have You Heard About … Janet Jackson, Coachella, Paul McCartney
Going into the weekend Live Nation announced Janet Jackson’s North American “Unbreakable” tour will be postponed until 2017. Jackson recently stated that she and her husband are planning a family and that she is under doctor’s orders to rest.
Last December the singer postponed dates to have an unspecified surgical procedure. No details on her medical condition were disclosed but she denied rumors that she had cancer. Her tour was to resume in May.
Now the tour has been postponed until 2017. New dates will be announced at a later time. Tickets will be honored for the re-scheduled dates or refunded.
Made possible by T-Mobile, there will be three live stream channels and a video-on-demand hub to see highlights and performance footage plus an interactive personalized schedule fans can customize. The live stream channel will change automatically based on the artists and bands you select. It’s also available on the YouTube Music app and on any screen where you can access YouTube.
Paul McCartney has confirmed a new Canadian date for his “One On One” tour. He will perform July 21 at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. This will be McCartney’s historic debut appearance in Hamilton, on the global trek that kicks off in Fresno, Calif., April 13.
