Vince Neil Faces Battery Charge
Police have cited Motley Crue singer Vince Neil for battery after an incident in which he allegedly pulled the hair of a woman in Las Vegas, Nev., April 7.
The woman was reportedly asking actor Nicolas Cage for an autograph when Neil came up behind her and grabbed her hair. A video of the actor and the singer arguing and then hugging after the incident was posted to TMZ.
The charge was for misdemeanor battery and, because Neil pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in a 2011 incident with a former girlfriend, he could face prison time if convicted. Motley Crüe completed its farewell “The Final Tour” with a sold-out show at the Staples Center Jan. 5.
Vince Neil has upcoming tour dates as a solo artist, including at the M3 Rock Festival April 29 and Tree Town Music Festival May 26.
