Dylan Fest Sets Two Nashville Nights
Along with saluting the “Forever Young” artist, Dylan Fest pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of the release of Blonde On Blonde, Dylan’s first album recorded entirely in Nashville.
Best Fest’s very own The Cabin Down Below Band will provide backing music for the two nights of entertainment. Also appearing will be City And Colour, Moon Taxi, Brothers Osborne, Dhani Harrison, John Paul White, Nikki Lane, Brendan Benson, Rayland Baxter, Holly Williams, Langhorne Slim, Eric Pulido of Midlake, Ruby Amanfu, Karen Elson, Amanda Shires, Danny Masterson, Bijou Phillips, The Whigs, Cory Chisel, Adriel Denae,
The lineup also includes Charlie McCoy, who played on Blonde On Blond as well as Nashville Skyline and John Wesley Harding, sitting in on harmonica.
Although most artists are performing on both nights, Kacey Musgraves and Brothers Osborne appear May 24 only.
Ticket proceeds will help benefit Nashville-based charity Thistle Farms in its mission to help a community of women who have survived prostitution, trafficking and addiction.
“We are thrilled and grateful to celebrate the life and legacy of Bob Dylan at the legendary Ryman Auditorium,” Best Fest founder Austin Scaggs said. “To honor Bob and raise money for a wonderful charity is a win-win.”
