Cashless Venue To Open In Hampshire

The new space, which is set across two levels beneath the town’s Festival Place shopping center, will officially open April 29 with The Boomtown Rats, Max Milner and Belle Roscoe.

Its operators claim to offer “the best sound in the world” thanks to a Funktion One Evo6 sound system, as well as “a lighting and effects show that will even rival large arenas.”

It will also be an entirely cashless affair.

“This keeps you safer because you don’t have to carry cash around, it keeps our staff safer because none of our bars have tills or any cash behind them and it makes us efficient and accountable in our approach to excellent customer service,” a statement reads.
