Milwaukee Closer To New Arena
Construction on a new arena in Milwaukee will begin soon, as the NBA’s Bucks have signed an agreement with the Wisconsin Center District.

An artist rendering depicts a proposed, new $500 million arena to keep the Milwaukee Bucks NBA team in the city.
The Milwaukee Bucks signed a 30-year lease agreement, which will allow for construction to begin on the $524 million downtown arena June 18 with an expected completion in August 2018.
The venue includes 17,500 seats with 34 suites. Construction on a six-story parking facility and the team’s training center is set to begin in June as well.
