ZZ Top Postponements
An injury has forced ZZ Top to postpone its weekend shows as the band takes an unexpected break.

Dusty Hill’s newly dislocated shoulder is to blame for the change of plans. The ZZ Top bassist suffered the injury last night at the Lone Star Events Center Amphitheater in Lubbock, Texas, forcing the postponement of the evening’s gig.
Also off the schedule until further notice is the band’s concert planned for tonight at the Firelake Arena in Shawnee, Okla. ZZ Top is also nixing its Saturday performance at the Chilifest in Snook, Texas.
Although Hill’s dislocated shoulder has resulted in only three missed gigs, there may be more postponements or cancelations upcoming. A note on the band’s website states “Details regarding rescheduling and future ZZ Top performance dates are expected in the near future.”
