The startup wants to change the way fans, artists and promoters think about ticketing by removing booking fees, introducing a quick way of finding gigs and combining it with an easy and immersive buying experience.
Dice founder and CEO Phil Hutcheon has a strict policy of staying out the secondary market. The only option Dice offers to fans who cannot make a gig is to return the ticket at face value. In his seven years at Red Bull, Hancox worked on the Red Bull Music Academy Tour, Culture Clash and Revolutions In Sound. He then became Uber’s brand manager before being recruited by Dice.
Hutcheon said that Hancox “joined to lead our marketing efforts as we build a global platform.”
