The trek comes after his successful North American venture and a trip to Australia. G-Eazy kicked off the second North American leg at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Ill., March 29. The first leg sold out nearly every market, most of which were in the 7,000-capacity range. It included two sold-out evenings at the 5,000-capacity Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles and an 8,500-capacity sell-out at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.

G-Eazy, born Gerald Earl Gillum, is a rapper, songwriter and record producer based in Oakland, Calif., and a graduate of Loyola University. He grabbed some attention with his 2014 debut, These Things Happen, but it was his sophomore effort, When It’s Dark Out, that took G-Eazy into the stratosphere when it dropped Dec. 4. The single “Me, Myself & I” was uploaded to YouTube Oct. 29 and has since been viewed nearly 106 million times. A single featuring Chris Brown, “Drifting,” had 300,000 views 24 hours after it launched April 19.

G-Eazy hit the main stages of North America’s biggest festivals in 2015, including Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Made in America and Austin City Limits. At press time, he was a featured artist on both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and had just sold out Fresno, Calif.’s Selland Arena with a crowd of 7,700 – the first time that venue has had a sold-out show since 2014.

G-Eazy just announced a co-bill tour with Logic. The “Endless Summer Tour” kicks off at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas June 28 and has dates booked through July 26 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
