Strangers Introduced In Marissa Nadler Tour

Songstress Marissa Nadler is adding a leg of North American shows to her previously announced dates in the U.S. and Europe. The shows will follow the May 20 release of her seventh album, “Strangers.”

Nadler is known for her ethereal vocal style which uses her soprano range to create haunting harmonies. Combined with production effects such as echo and mood-setting synthesizers, her music creates rich musical portraits which address themes like heartache and death.

The new shows are scheduled between July 5 and Aug. 1 and take the artist throughout the Midwestern, Northeastern and Southeastern U.S., with a few stops in Canada. She will be playing an album release concert May 18, but it will be tough to get in as tickets have already sold out.

These new dates follow a series of pre-announced shows in the Western U.S. and Europe. The first of the West Coast shows, which feature Black Mountain, was April 21 in Bellingham, Wash. The European dates will feature her enchanting melodies across the pond from May 24 to June 9.

In addition to her own upcoming album, Nadler contributed guest vocals on musical jack-of-all-trades Ben Watt’s most recent album, Fever Dream.
