The Paper Kites To Soar In Summer

The Paper Kites have announced its North American summer flight plan. Kicking off at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, the trek winds throughout Canada, the Midwest and East Coast.

The Australian band released their sophomore album, twelvefour last year and experimented with the theory that the most creative hours are between midnight and 4 a.m. The album was written entirely during those hours over a two month time span.

TPK consists of Sam Bentley (vocals/guitar/harmonica), Christina Lacy (vocals/guitar/keys/mandolin), David Powys (vocals/guitar/banjo/lap steel), Josh Bentley (drums/percussion) and Sam Rasmussen (bass/synths). The group creates relaxing melodies with soothing harmonies.
