Ravinia Ticket Buying Debacle

Fans trying to purchase tickets for Ravinia festival concerts expressed their frustration as the national credit card processing firm Authorize.net experienced technical difficulties at the April 26 onsale.

Tickets for the 2016 season at the Highland Park, Ill., venue went on sale at 5 a.m. CDT according to Ravinia’s Facebook page, but many fans were unsuccessful in their attempts to purchase tickets alleging that the majority of tickets were sold to “Ravinia donors” and the secondary market by the time the processing errors were corrected.

Acts scheduled to perform this summer include Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Diana Ross and Ravinia.
