Kongos Unleashes Its Inner ‘Egomaniac’

After finishing up dates in June, Kongos will kick off a two-week tour of North America. The routing includes festival gigs as well as headlining shows in cities such as Indianapolis, Chicago and Toronto.

Kongos is four brothers, Johnny, Jesse, Dylan and Danny, who started playing music at an early age under the influence of their musician dad, John Kongos. The band’s third album, Egomaniac, drops June 10 via Epic Records.

Fox Sports named Kongos its May “Artist of the Month” and will broadcast four songs from Egomaniac during sports events throughout the month. Featured songs include “Take It From Me,” “I Don’t Mind,” “I Want It Free” and “Look At Me.”
