Widespread Panic Moves Into Fall

Widespread Panic’s touring calendar keeps on growing.  The band has fattened up its routing with its first wave of fall dates plus a few winter gigs, including New Year’s Eve.

We’ll start with the last week of the year.  The Panic will hold its annual Tunes For Tots Charity concert Dec. 29 at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium before moving over to the Bridgestone Arena for the last two nights of 2016 – Dec. 30-31.

Will Widespread Panic cease touring after this year?  That was the message put forth by keyboardist Jo Jo Herman when he told Jackson, Miss., newspaper The Clarion-Ledger the band was “going to call it touring-wise after this year.”  Herman said Widespread Panic wasn’t breaking up and would still play events like New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival or venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver.
