Blues Traveler & The Wallflowers Head Up Summer Tour
Ahead of the tour Blues Traveler has plenty of its own headline dates to take care of, along with a handful of festival appearances. The next stop for the group is Nashville’s Sevier Park Fest May 6. John Popper & Co. are continuing to support the band’s 12th studio album, 2015’s Blow Up The Moon.
G. Love & Special Sauce and Howie Day also put out new albums last year.
Day’s latest project is Lanterns. The singer/songwriter’s upcoming headline dates include gigs in Portland, Ore.; Kenmore, Wash.; Phoenix, Ariz.; and Arundel, Maine.
G. Love has been celebrating Love Saves The Day by playing it from start to finish on tour, followed by a second set of tunes made up of requests from fans. The band has a handful of festival appearances booked over the next several months, including Cincinnati’s Bunbury Music Festival and Dominion RiverRock Festival in Richmond, Va.
The Wallflowers’ most recent album, Glad All Over, was released in 2012.
