Julion Alvarez Bouncing Around U.S. Southwest In Tour
No llores! The Mexican “King of the Box Office” Julion Alvarez Y Su Norteño Banda (and his Northerner Band) has announced a trip throughout the U.S.
The tour promoting his most recent album Mis Idolos … Hoy Mis Amigos (My Idols … Now My Friends) was critically acclaimed in Mexico and is now booked mostly for the southwestern U.S. with California and Texas making up more than half of the dates.

Alvarez recently came under heavy fire on social media for “machista” comments about preferring women who pick up a mop in a Mexican publication. He has since explained that he never meant to offend anyone, as his sister is a doctor, dedicated to her work outside of the home.
