Alaskan Venue On The Block

, of Fairbanks, Alaska, is up for sale for the price of $750,000 including the sound system and liquor license.

Adam Wool, the owner for the last 19 years, has said the 400 indoor/3,000 outdoor capacity venue’s day-to-day operations will not change for the time being, but he has been personally considering changing his career direction for some time.

He was previously operating the Loon and another local venue, The Blue Marlin, simultaneously before selling the latter in the ’90s. In the report by the News-Miner, Wool said prospective buyers might consider Alaska’s recently changed regulations on marijuana as a reason to enter the market.

Recent performances at the Blue Loon include Jane’s AddictionYoung Dubliners, and . The club’s next major show is Fishbone May 13.
