Huka Creates Tour Network

Huka Entertainment is linking up with nearly 50 exclusive and non-exclusive venues to form a comprehensive national network, mostly in the Southeast and ranging from clubs to arenas, the company announced May 9.  

The company may be best known as the organizer of festivals such as Pemberton and Tortuga music festivals and Buku Music + Arts Project.

Among the clubs and theatres that are exclusive network members are Saenger Theatre and  in Mobile, Ala.;  and  in Birmingham, Ala.’  and Greenfield Lakes Amphitheatre in Wilmington, N.C.; and  in Tallahassee, Fla.

Other venues that are not exclusive to, but are part of, the Huka Entertainment network are located in cities including Shreveport, La.; Richmond, Va.; Knoxville, Tenn.; Asheville, N.C.; Augusta, Ga.; Pensacola, Fla.; El Paso, San Antonio and Houston, Texas; Albuquerque, N.M., and Los Angeles.

“Over the past year our vice president of touring, Dave Fortune, and his team have been lining up venues to create one of the deepest and most comprehensive independent southeastern touring routes available,” Huka Entertainment CEO Evan Harrison said. “This network of venues enables us to help develop bands over the long haul, taking them from club stages to arenas and ultimately to our world-class festival stages in a very powerful way.”
