St. Lucia Extends Tour
After wrapping a few dates overseas and several festivals in the U.S., St. Lucia headlines a fall run kicking off in New York in September.
The upcoming tour features St. Lucia, aka Jean-Philip Grobler, along with a band that includes his wife Patricia Beranek. A heavy ‘80s influence is prominent in his sound with its synth-laden upbeat power pop that makes you feel like the star of a John Hughes film.

St. Lucia’s latest release, Matter, dropped this year via Columbia Records and is the follow-up to 2013’s When The Night. Rolling Stone drew comparisons to “Prince at his purplest” for the song “Home” from the new LP. Entertainment Weekly declared it “the indie dance party album of the year.” The live video for his current single “Help Me Run Away” premieres today.
