Stone Roses Postpone Japan
The Stone Roses have postponed two shows at Tokyo’s iconic Budokan arena, according to local promoter Creativeman Productions.

The concerts were slated for June 2-3, with the first gig already sold out. A Creativeman spokesperson said that drummer Reni “accidentally fell” and fractured two ribs in the process.
“His doctor has told him to rest for at least a month,” which means the group is “unable to fulfill their planned performances in Japan.”
As of May 10, the group’s representatives have not made their own announcement, so it remains to be seen if the injury affects their UK tour, which begins on June 15. According to NME, the Stone Roses are now recording a new album.
