Zakk Wylde’s Touring ‘Shadow’

July will see the launch of Zakk Wylde’s first North American headlining tour since last year’s “Unblackened” outing. Stops include Dallas, Orlando, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

Wylde hasn’t exactly been sitting on his fretboard this year.  The guitar maestro appeared on The Experience Hendrix Tour Februrary–March along with master guitar slingers such as Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Wylde’s new tour announcement comes after he completed an April-May run with “Generation Axe” – the supergroup that includes Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt and Tosin Albasi.

Wylde’s 40+ headlining tour is in support of his Book Of Shadows II album.  Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown and Jared James Nichols provide support.  Here’s the routing:
