Thirdstory Moves Up

After wrapping dates in May opening for Tori KellyThirdstory plays a London gig in June, performs a free concert in Maine in July and then kicks off a headlining tour of the U.S. in September.

The New York-based trio is Elliot Skinner, Ben Lusher and Richard Saunders. Thirdstory’s sound combines three-part harmonies with a blend of folk, R&B, hip hop and soul. The band started attracting followers online with its covers of artists such as Sam SmithTaylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

The group is releasing a full-length album this fall on Verve Records. Produced by Malay, the LP features all originals. A three song EP, Searching, is out now digitally and the songs “Searching For A Feeling,” “G Train” and “Grows Old” will be included on the full-length.
