First Niagara Center now KeyBank

First Niagara Center in Buffalo, N.Y., will be renamed KeyBank Center under a deal expected to close by fall.  

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The deal and name change must be approved by federal regulators as well as the National Hockey League, according to Buffalo Business First.

First Niagara acquired naming rights to the venue, home to the Buffalo Sabres, in 2011.
