Switchfoot & Relient K Split The Bill

Switchfoot and Relient K co-headline a U.S. tour this fall. The three-month outing includes stops in Chicago, New York, Dallas and San Francisco.

The “Looking For America Tour” features both bands supporting their newest releases.

Based out of San Diego, Switchfoot will drop its 10th album, Where The Light Shines Through, via Vanguard Records July 8. The band consists of Jon Foreman (vocals/guitar), Tim Foreman (bass), Chad Butler (drums), Jerome Fontamillas (keys/guitar) and Drew Shirley (guitar). The group founded the BRO-AM Foundation, an organization that provides services to underprivileged youth and will donate $1 of every ticket sale to the charity.

Relient K will be releasing its eighth studio album, Air For Free, via Gotee Records July 22. The band formed in Canton, Ohio in 1998 and includes Matthew Thiessen (lead vocals/guitars/piano), Matthew Hoopes (guitars/vocals) plus touring members Tom Breyfogle (bass) and Dave Douglas (drums/vocals).
